geraldCadium Music has signed Gerald O’Brien, Chris O’Brien, Jay Lazaroff and Jonathan Clarke, collectively known as R.A.M.P. (Real Artists and Music Production). With a long list of credits composing for television, recording artists, commercials, as well as performing with A-List artists, RAMP takes over a hundred years of musical experience and applies it to film and television score in a live setting.

“The complaint is that a lot of television, especially Reality TV, sounds canned,” says writer/composer, Jay Lazaroff, “and we want to give it a live sound so that there’s an added dimension to it…so that it sounds more genuine.”

chrisThe brothers O’Brien, Lazaroff and Clarke have worked together on several projects over the years and the thinking was to bring their talents together and improve the level of music in the scoring world. The O’Briens and Lazaroff individually and collectively have worked on projects including Oprah, The Steve Harvey Show, Michael Jackson, Kelsea Ballerini and many, many more. Jonathan Clarke has performed with several Eagles members, including Joe Walsh and Glenn Frey, as well as Michael McDonald and Carlene Carter and provided his vocals on many projects, including Coca Cola and Fruit of the Loom commercials.

The combination of successful writers and a seasoned vocalist is the perfect mix to produce a refreshing brand of music for television and other projects.

While many in the industry have worked with all the members of RAMP on various projects, the RAMP collective is just beginning to get out its brand.jay

“We think that once we demonstrate to music departments that we can deliver the right music for the right project, they will come back to us for more,” says Lazaroffjonathan
