The year for Cadium had a nice string of highlights, as the company signed metal act Attila, and pop artist Rachel Lorin, amongst some other notable moments.

Attila is in the midst of a re-birth, dropping new songs throughout 2023 and gaining some traction at outlets, such as Octane (Sirius XM), with “Bite Your Tongue” and “FU4EVR.” The Atlanta-based quartet toured Europe over the summer and completed a U.S. run, shortly thereafter. The guys will continue to release new material throughout 2024.

Rachel Lorin

Rachel Lorin continued to release new material this year with some stand-outs, such as “Lifeline,” and “Sugar Baby,” which is a co-write and performance with Call Me Karizma. More from Rachel next year.

Chester Rushing

While Chester Rushing hasn’t released new music, lately, it’s largely due to his increasingly heavier work schedule in film, mostly voiceovers. That said, Rushing scored his first singing part in a studio film with “Move Fast, Break Things” for the animated feature Urkel Saves Santa: The Movie!

Southbound 75

Southbound 75 continue to gain fans and add more live dates to their already busy schedule. Some of their noteworthy shows included performances on this year’s High Seas Rally motorcycle cruise (George Thorogood & The Destroyers and The Outlaws were also on the bill), and the 99.5 QYK “Guitar Pull,” for the second year in a row. 2024 will include more dates out of state (Cleveland, Cincinnati and Louisville have been confirmed) and getting to work on a new album.

Curt Martin

Curt Martin had a busy and productive year, kicking it off by making Billboard’s top Hard Rock Producers chart. The chart position was due to the millions of streams of “Dial Tone” by Texas alt rock band, Catch Your Breath. The track also came in at No. 16 on Billboard’s year end Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. Martin co-wrote and produced the track and the album, “Shame On Me,” which released in October. While the track dropped independently last year, the band ultimately signed to Thriller and the label’s promotional muscle helped the song find an audience. Word has it that Catch Your Breath will be releasing new material before the end of next year, which undoubtedly will be co-written and produced by Martin.

While continuing to collaborate with Ryan Oakes, Ekoh and Rachel Lorin, Martin moved from Georgia to Los Angeles this year, which has resulted in more activity. This year’s production includes writing and/or producing/mixing for Masked Wolf, Set For The Fall, Colorblind and others. ’24 looks like it will be an undoubtedly full slate of sessions for the writer/producer.

Chris Linck and Kalan Blehm

Chris Linck and Kalan Blehm, of Attila, also teamed up with Martin in co-writing and/or co-producing the aforementioned CYB “Shame On Me” album. In addition, Linck co-wrote one of Ekoh’s recent tracks, “Hole in Your Head,” which came out earlier this year. Linck should have a hand in some of CYB’s 2024 releases, as well.
