In This Moment will be releasing additional vinyl of Blood Friday (5/3/19). Blood, originally released in 2012, will be in two colors, "Red Smoke" and "Purple Marble." Kane Churko has four co-writes on the ITM release: "You're Gonna Listen," Comanche," "Beast Within" and "Blood." 2015 was a notable year for Cadium Music Publishing. The publisher had four songs at rock radio reach the number one spot. They were: "Wrong Side of Heaven" (Five Finger Death Punch), "Face Everything and Rise" (Papa Roach) and two number ones by Disturbed, "The Vengeful One" and "The Light," from their album Immortalized. "The Light" is currently number one; FFDP's "Wash It All Away" is currently number two. 2014 was a continuation of 2013 with more notable moments for Cadium Music...- In This Moment's, Blood, continued to sell, and with the guidance of Kevin and Kane Churko in the studio, the band landed a new record deal with Atlantic.ITM's new album, Black Widow, has been out less than five weeks, but the group (and the label) is in full support of the record. In This Moment's first single to their upcoming album Black Widow, "Sick Like Me," was released earlier this month. The band have just released the official video to the song. Black Widow comes out November 18 and was co-written by Kevin and Kane Churko, and produced by Kevin Churko.
The Hideout, the Las Vegas recording studio owned by writer/producer Kevin Churko, is no secret. Churko and his son, Kane, kicked off the year recording the new Hellyeah album, due out in April on Eleven Seven. With the seats still warm, Papa Roach began work with the Churkos this month and will be making their new record into March. March and April will see the return of In This Moment. CARAS has once again recognized the great work of Kevin Churko. Last night, Churko won his fourth Juno at the 39th Juno Awards. Churko won for Engineer of the Year, for his work on In This Moment's song, "Blood," and for Five Finger Death Punch's, "Coming Down." What made the award extra special was that Kevin's son, Kane, also shared the award as co-engineer on the two tracks. Both In This Moment's, "Blood," from the album of the same name and Five Finger Death Punch's "Coming Down," from American Capitalist, were recorded at Churko's The Hideout.
This year's Juno nominations were announced and Kevin Churko has two of them. Churko, and his son, Kane, are nominated for their production work on In This Moment's Blood album, and engineering on Five Finger Death Punch's American Capitalist.
