CISCO DE LUNA
Cisco DeLuna, seamlessly straddles the Latin and American market as a writer, producer, musician and engineer, resulting in work on albums that have gone gold and platinum. This native Californian’s combined talents make it easy for him to develop and produce artists, as well as compose for film and television.
As a multi-instrumentalist (dobro, lap steel, mandolin, accordion, guitar, piano, banjo) and writer/producer, he has worked on many projects. Cisco created the signature sound of Steve Reynolds that caught the attention of Radiohead, and his sound is the precursor to what is now popular with groups such as Mumford and Sons. In addition, DeLuna has production credits with Mia Doi Todd (Columbia), Keith Gattis, Austin Hanks, Santo Inocente, Los Bukis, The Dickies, Caminantes, Joan Sebastian, Yuri, Lisa Lopez, El Tiempo and Tierra, just to name a few.
Cisco’s songwriting and production work is in various film and television projects, including the Academy Award-nominated film, Collateral, (co-write), the Venezualen motion picture, Habana Eva (co-composer), Domino and Blind Horizon (co-writes), the PBS documentary and Emmy-nominated The Judge and the General (production) and The Bold and the Beautiful (production and co-written with Steve Reynolds).
DeLuna produced CM Talkington’s “Not Exactly Nashville,” which is out now, as well as “Easy As It Feels,” by Piel.
